Une m\u00e9moire marrane au P\u00e9rou ?\u00a0\u00bb<\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Conf\u00e9rence\/D\u00e9dicace avec Nathan Wachtel &amp; Livia Parnes<\/h2>\n<p>En 1989, la ville de Celend\u00edn dans la r\u00e9gion luxuriante de Cajamarca au Nord du P\u00e9rou se fait le th\u00e9\u00e2tre d\u2019un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de conversion collective au juda\u00efsme orthodoxe suivi par de nombreux d\u00e9parts pour Isra\u00ebl. Nathan Wachtel, \u00e9minent sp\u00e9cialiste de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique latine et auteur de nombreux livres sur la culture marrane nous plonge dans une enqu\u00eate sur les origines juives portugaises de cette ville\u2026<br \/>\n<strong>Nathan Wachtel<\/strong> obtient son agr\u00e9gation d\u2019histoire en 1963, consacrant sa th\u00e8se \u00e0 la conqu\u00eate espagnole vue par les Indiens du P\u00e9rou. Soutenue en 1969, elle est publi\u00e9e en 1971 sous le titre\u00a0<em>La Vision des Vaincus \u2013 Les Indiens du P\u00e9rou devant la Conqu\u00eate Espagnole (1530-1570<\/em>). Eminent sp\u00e9cialiste de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique latine, il s\u2019int\u00e9resse \u00e9galement \u00e0 l\u2019histoire de la communaut\u00e9 marrane et publie divers ouvrages \u00e0 ce sujet, tels\u00a0<em>La Foi du souvenir<\/em>\u00a0(2001) ou\u00a0<em>M\u00e9moires Marranes<\/em>\u00a0(2011).
